It has 45 grams of actuation force and while this indeed increased their responsiveness, the thing is that our physical movement is not as fast as the light speed which real benefits in real application is actually not that prominent. On the other hand, the Blackwidow Elite not only upgraded on the design but also on the keys as now the green switch is featured with a bigger center cross and two plates on each of its sides to improve the performance as well as response when pressed from the edges.
Side by side, the performance between Razer Huntsman Elite and Blackwidow Elite are almost identical and you will still feel the same response in both switches but, probably due to the optical technology, keys in Huntsman Elite is no longer as loud as a pure mechanical switch like on Blackwidow. The latter also accept more force and this can be noticeable when playing first-person shooter or when just typing documents.
