That is why, because the huge number of gaming supporting tools which spread out well in the market, knowing exactly the product is very crucial. Here, we are going to get you know more about gaming mouse. Coming from the same brand which is Razer, in series Razer Copperhead and Razer Diamondback. Comparing them seeing by:
- How legit is the design?
- How’s its specification?
- How’s its feature?
- Is it worth the price?
- Is there product warranty?
Now, let’s talk a bit deeper.
I found a signature design in almost any gaming product, such as headset, mouse, keyboard, and so on. That signature is neon. The design of each gaming product is nearly always neon. I personally could not find the reason why. But overall, it is eye-catching. Dominated with black color, and a Neon Green light as the same glowing color as the sideline, with its logo in the middle which is neon too. I personally like the design. It looks so cool and manly. Coming in size 5.04 x 2.5 x 1.54 which is a bit bigger than regular mouse, but still fits as well to the user’s palm hand. This Razer Copperhead is consisted by 7 buttons. 2 buttons on each side, 2 main button and a clickable scroll wheel. Sure, you may add a program to the buttons.
The Razer Copperhead is one of the highest DPI mice available and completed by a Laser engine feature. Here is the full technical specification of this Razer Copperhead:
- 2000 DPI Laser Engine Powered by Razer Precision
- 1000 Hz Ultrapolling with 1 ms response time as compared with 125Hz/8 ms response time used by other conventional gaming mice
- 32KB Onboard Memory Powered by Razer Synapse
- 7 independently programmable buttons optimized with Razer Hyperesponse technology for ultra tactile button feedback and maximum actions-per-minute (APM) gameplay
- Zero-Acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet
- 16 bit data path, as compared to 8 bit and 12 bit data paths used by other conventional mice

This Razer Copperhead is ahead of the game with 2000 DPI laser tracking engine. Programmable buttons, on the fly sensitivity adjustment, also the button could be designed as the macros. More comfortable feeling, because the mouse will not drag the display even if it is unconditionally moved.
This Razer Copperhead costs $59.00. To be honest, this is a bit pricey.
Unfortunately, there are no more information about product warranty. I personally think that any electronic include a computer mouse should be provided by warranty. I do really hope that Razer will provide it
I am in love at the first sight, for the first time I see this Razer Diamondback. Just like what I told you before, its signature is a neon. But this one, this Razer Diamondback is a rainbow glowing neon. Closely similar design as Razer Copperhead’s shape and size. It still fits super well on the user’s palm hand. This Razer Diamondback is also dominated by black color, with an LED rainbow light as the same glowing as the side line color, which is rainbow. Cute and cool at same time. On the other hand, this Razer Diamondback is also dark, mysterious and handsome. This Razer Diamondback is completed by 7 buttons as well. 2 buttons each side, 2 main buttons and a clickable rainbow neon scroll wheel. Last, please do not forget its rainbow logo. I personally give 10/10 for its design.
Similar to the previous series of Razer, this Razer Diamondback is also completed by DPI features. Here is the full specification of this Razer Diamondback:
- 16,000 DPI 5G sensor
- 1,000 Hz ultrapolling rate
- 50g acceleration
- Ambidextrous design
- Chrome lighting
- 2.1mm (7ft) braided fibre cable
- 89g (without cable)
Similar to Razer Copperhead, this Razer Diamondback is ahead of the game with 16,000 DPI 5G sensor. Too far gaps between Razer Copperhead and Razer Diamondback. Also, this Razer Diamondback is completed by programmable buttons. Closely similar as the Razer Copperhead features given. Sure, more comfortable feeling when it is used. I personally think that both mice are not only suitable for gaming but also a conventional mouse for casual users.
This Razer Diamondback costs $58.99. What a fun price. Between only 1 cent and the different feature between Razer Copperhead and Razer Diamondback is unreasonable. I personally do not know why Razer sold Copperhead in $59.00 and Diamondback in $58.99.
Exactly the same as Razer Copperhead, Unfortunately, there are no more information about product warranty. I personally think that Razer better provide a product warranty. And I do really hope that I just miss the product warranty information. In case of hoping that it exists.
Razer Copperhead vs Razer Diamondback
These are hard to decide. Furthermore, they are coming from the same brand, with closely similar features, a bit difference of specification and sure a big different of design. I personally do not know what makes Razer Copperhead is more expensive than Razer Diamondback, even it is just 1 cent gaps. But in the end, I personally prefer Razer Diamondback. For its design which is truly legit, specifications and features, hereafter its price.
