Design
In terms of design, both models are indeed mechanical keyboards. They both offer 100% anti-ghosting performance with 104-key roll-over. It means, all the 104 keys on each keyboard are wired individually to the central processor, in contrast with membrane keyboards that have the keys interconnected in a mesh-like connection. With either Corsair Strafe or Corsair K70 RGB, your inputs will all always register in a precise and ordered manner. Both models work with the Cherry MX key switches.
Compared to Corsair K70 RGB, Corsair Strafe is relatively quieter. This is apparently because of the housing material. The housing is plastic. On the other hand, Corsair K70 RGB features the ultra-rugged aircraft-grade black anodized brushed aluminum housing. It is very solid and sturdy.
Lighting
